# \[Civilian] Department of Transportation (Tow) and Department of Water and Power

**Any civilian may play as DOT or DWP employee with no application or invitation required.**

The Department of Transportation (DOT) is a government service agency tasked with responding to accidents for road cleanup, traffic control, and towing; performing roadway inspections; conducting roadway repairs; removing roadway hazards; patrolling roadways to ensure hazards are dealt with promptly; and providing escorts to any hazardous-or-oversized loads.

The Department of Water and Power is a government utility agency responsible tasked with maintaining and repairing water infrastructure, fire hydrants, sewage lines, power lines, power substations, power plants, water and wastewater treatment and pumping facilities.
